How to Join
Fall 2026 Highlights
NEC Prep offers a variety of opportunities for young musicians, including:
- Contemporary ensembles performing pop, rock, acoustic, and celtic music
- Choral offerings for all ages, from an introductory chorus to advanced programs focused on opera, musical theatre, and art song
- Early childhood programs exploring jazz, orchestral performance, and choral singing
- And many more opportunities for all ages and skill levels!
BSO x NEC Honors Children’s Choir
The Boston Symphony Orchestra and New England Conservatory are proud to announce the establishment of the new BSO x NEC Honors Children’s Choir, led by Director of Choirs Michele Adams.
This ensemble offers singers ages 8 to 13 exceptional training through NEC’s Preparatory School and extraordinary opportunities to perform with the legendary BSO and Boston Pops at Symphony Hall.
