Taxes for Teaching Artists
If it is true that the only certain things in life are death and taxes, this workshop will make navigating one of those things considerably easier. Focused specifically on the unique tax landscape for teaching artists, this session will address different types of income (from W2s and 1099s to extra gigs and licensing), common business deductions (with a few “sleeper deductions” with tax benefits for things like retirement), and effective recordkeeping systems. Bring your questions, challenges, and curiosities for this fast-paced, informative session designed to make tax time more manageable.

Please register to attend in person or virtually using the "Get Tickets" button above. Registrants will receive live stream information via email. This event is part of the Teaching Artistry @ NEC Workshop Series.
