Massachusetts Youth Wind Ensemble

Open to advanced high school-age (grades 10, 11, 12) woodwind, brass, and percussion players. This is a touring ensemble. In June 2010 they traveled to Germany and Austria for a 10 day concert tour. Sr. MYWE will tour again in June 2012

Friday, 4:15-6:15 p.m. (Sept. 16-Nov. 18) and 4:30-7:00pm(Dec. 2-May 20)

Audition Information

MYWE holds auditions each May for the following year. Audition signup for the May 2012 auditions will begin online starting March 15, 2012.
Audition Requirements: Students should prepare two contrasting pieces. Additionally students should be prepared to play scales up to 4 flats and 4 sharps plus a chromatic scale.

Absence Requests
