Artist Diploma: Opera Studies
Opera Studies musicians in the Institute for Concert Artists earn the Artist Diploma, NEC’s highest-level performance designation. Concert Artists deepen their artistry and broaden their musical perspectives with the support of NEC faculty and the ICA’s extensive resources.
The two-year Opera Studies program in the Institute for Concert Artists at NEC is distinctive for its combination of mentorship, study, and performance opportunities. Admitted candidates possess a distinctive voice and are emerging into a noteworthy professional career that will make a significant contribution to the musical landscape. The purpose of the ICA is to give them the tools, mentorship, and connections they need to move into that sphere.
AD students are awarded a full-tuition scholarship and an annual living stipend.
