The future of music, made here.

Residence Life

Eat. Sleep. Make Music. All in the Heart of Boston.

Beyond its 250 beds, the Student Life and Performance Center (SLPC) boasts a two-level library for audio and print resources, a dining commons, a black box opera studio, large orchestra rehearsal space with acoustics mimicking Jordan Hall, and a small ensemble room with recording facilities suited to jazz and contemporary improvisation.

Incoming undergraduate students are required to live in the residence hall for their first four semesters at NEC, while others can join the on-campus housing waitlist or check out the many off-campus living options.
