Anne Hallmark taught in the music history department at NEC from 1973 through her retirement in 2016, and was one of the rotating department chairs throughout that time.
A specialist in late medieval and early Renaissance music, Hallmark has also published on teaching music and is currently involved with women’s studies. Hallmark has published in this country and abroad and has coedited the works of the composer Johannes Ciconia.
