“Aaron Larget-Caplan is a riveting artist,” writes the Washington Post, and the Boston Musical Intelligencer says he performs with “astounding technical proficiency and artistic delicacy.” Mr. Larget-Caplan is a composer, international recording and touring guitarist, award winning curator, producer, and publisher.

Larget-Caplan’s 11 critically acclaimed solo albums for Stone Records and Tiger Turn have earned 8-million streams since 2021. His recent albums include two all-Spanish albums Spanish Gems (2024) & Spanish Candy (2023), his own compositions on honey cadence (2022), an all-Bach album God’s Time (2022), John. Cage. Guitar. (2018), and three volumes for his New Lullaby Project: New Lullaby (2011), Nights Transfigured (2020), Hushed (2021). Larget-Caplan has received numerous awards including from the Société Académique Arts-Sciences-Lettres of Paris, France for his trailblazing work in music, and Musician in Residence at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity in Canada.

A lover of new, he has premiered over 120 solo and chamber compositions, and his groundbreaking arrangements and recording of the music of John Cage are the first to be sanctioned by the Cage Estate and are published by Edition Peters. His most recent publication with Edition Peters is an arrangement of the piano solo ‘Mystic Flute, Op 22’ by Alan Hovhaness, which was issued in Spring 2024. A multi-volume anthology of scores featuring commissions written for his New Lullaby Project are published by the American Composers Alliance alongside his first collection guitar solos. He is the director of the Spanish music and dance ensemble ¡Con Fuego! and the Boston-based concert series of Now Musique.

Faculty appointments include the Boston Conservatory at Berklee School of Music and the University of Massachusetts Boston. He is published by and on the board of the American Composers Alliance. Based in Boston, he likes espresso.
