West African Art Music Festival: An Evening of West African Vocal Music
This evening’s performance is a celebration of West African vocal music featuring the African Choral Ensemble, conducted by Rev. Dr. John Dankwa, and the NEC Chamber Singers, conducted by Erica J. Washburn, as well as solo performances from Nigerian voice students from NEC.

The performance will include works from Ephraim Amu, Ayo Bankole, Laz Ekwueme, Vincent I. Ihaza, Ayo Oluranti, Christian Onyeji, SK Oretimehin, and Joshua Uzoigwe.

The concert will conclude with a talk-back discussion with Dankwa and Professor Olabode Omojola.
