The newest works from the next generation of composers.
Tuesday Night New Music, a student-run, faculty-supervised concert series, was founded in the early 90s by Lee Hyla. It offers audiences the opportunity to hear the music of current New England Conservatory composition students, performed by their peers. This year the series is directed by student composers Peter Butler ’26 and Stellan Connelly Bettany '25 under the supervision of composition chair Michael Gandolfi.
Tonight's concert features works by student composers Stellan Connelly Bettany, Shiwen Zhong, Peter Butler, Jackson Yang, Lingbo Ma, ShengQiao Ye, Yuanwei Ni, Tomer Rozen, Gabriel Boyarin, Mathew Lanning, and Matthew Tirona.
