Silkroad Presents: Global Musician Workshop Participant Concerts

Silkroad’s Global Musician Workshop (GMW) presents a series of vibrant, genre-defying concerts featuring GMW faculty and participants! These concerts will feature brand new arrangements created and performed by this year’s extraordinary global cohort, blending musical traditions from India, Mali, the United States, China, Sierra Leone, and beyond. 80+ musicians from 22 different countries will take the stage in this one-of-a-kind event.

The GMW Participant Festival Pass offers admission to all GMW Participant concerts from August 20-22, 2026.

PLEASE NOTE: All Participant Concerts will be held at the Plimpton Shattuck Black Box Theater (255 St. Botolph Street, Boston, MA 02115). Only the Showcase will take place at Jordan Hall (30 Gainsborough St, Boston, MA 02115).
