On Monday, October 13, NEC joins the Fenway Alliance's annual Opening Our Doors celebration: Boston’s largest day of free arts and cultural events throughout the Fenway Cultural District. Stop by the acoustically sublime Jordan Hall to hear performances by current NEC students, featuring solo pianists and chamber ensembles, on the legendary stage that has launched the careers of so many celebrated musicians, from the trailblazing jazz artist Cecil Taylor to the Grammy-nominated band Lake Street Dive.
Join us from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Jordan Hall, 30 Gainsborough Street. NEC Prep's Honors Woodwind Quintet will also be featured in the opening ceremonies, at 10 a.m., at the BYSO Youth Center for Music.
