Nikki Abissi Trombone Master Class
Nikki Abissi is a highly accomplished trombonist whose dynamic artistry and dedication to excellence have earned her recognition as a prominent figure in the world of brass performance. With a deep passion for her craft, Nikki combines technical virtuosity with expressive musicality, captivating audiences around the globe.
A graduate of The Juilliard School and Stony Brook University, Nikki holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Trombone Performance. During her time there, she studied under some of the most celebrated trombonists in the industry, honing her skills and cultivating her unique musical voice. Nikki has also participated in prestigious festivals and workshops, including the Aspen Music Festival and The New World Symphony, further enriching her musical journey.
Nikki’s performance career is distinguished by its versatility. Equally at home on the concert stage and in intimate recital settings, she has performed with renowned ensembles and orchestras, showcasing her ability to blend seamlessly in collaborative settings while also shining as a soloist. Her repertoire spans a wide array of genres, from classical to contemporary works, as she consistently seeks to challenge herself and expand the boundaries of trombone performance.
