NEC Prep Piano Department Performance: György Kurtág 100th Birthday Celebration Concert

The NEC Prep Piano Department presents the Angel Ramón Rivera Piano Seminars and the Walnut Hill School for the Arts Piano Seminar in celebration of the centennial of György Kurtág, with an intimate concert honoring one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary music. 

Prep Piano Seminar students of ages 7 to 18 come together to perform an all-Kurtág program featuring selections from Játékok (Games), expressive miniatures that reveal the depth, imagination, and profound musical world of this remarkable composer. 

This concert is open to the public.
