The Elise String Quartet was formed at the New England Conservatory in the fall of 2024. Chosen as a 2024-2025 NEC Honors Ensemble, the quartet comprises members from Asia and Europe: violinists Seungwon Park '26 MM and Jessica Kartawidjaja '28 BM; violist Diogo Pimentel '28 BM; and cellist Monica Yun-ting Chiang '28 BM. The ensemble has performed for esteemed musicians such as Melissa Reardon, Max Levinson, Beth Guterman Chu, Soovin Kim, Raman Ramakrishnan, and Michael Kannen.
