Winner of the 2024 Avery Fisher Career Grant, violinist Julian Rhee won the 5th place at the 2024 Queen Elisabeth International Violin Competition and the Silver Medal at the 11th Quadrennial International Violin Competition of Indianapolis.

Rhee is the newest member of Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center’s prestigious Bowers Program. Rhee received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees as teaching assistant of Miriam Fried at the New England Conservatory, and currently studies with Christian Tetzlaff at the Kronberg Academy.

Praised by the New York Times as an “excellent young pianist”, Chelsea Wang is a prizewinner and finalist of many national and international piano competitions. Ms. Wang made her orchestral debut at the age of six and has performed with many orchestras since then, and numerous musicians worldwide.

Ms. Wang graduated from the Curtis Institute of Music and was awarded the prestigious Sergei Rachmaninoff Award upon graduation. She received her Master of Music degree and Graduate Performance Diploma at the Peabody Conservatory under Leon Fleisher and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Northwestern University’s Bienen School of Music. Ms. Wang is a member of the New York-based Ensemble Connect, a highly selective two-year fellowship program under the joint auspices of Carnegie Hall, The Weill Institute, and The Juilliard School.
