The New York Times praised Geroge Li: “combined youthful abandon with utter command.” He was the Winner of the silver medal at the 2015 International Tchaikovsky Competition, recipient of the 2016 Avery Fisher Career Grant, the 2012 Gilmore Young Artist Award, and First Prize at the 2010 Young Concert Artists International Auditions, among other honors.

Praised by The Washington Post for his “staggering technical prowess, a sense of command, and depth of expression,” George Li performs regularly with many of the world’s leading orchestras and conductors and has appeared at some of the most prestigious concert venues around the globe. An exclusive Warner Classics recording artist, Li released his debut recital album in 2017, his second album in 2019, and his third album, Movements, in 2024. It was selected by Gramophone magazine as one of the Best New Classical Recordings of August 2024.

George Li completed the Harvard University/New England Conservatory dual-degree program in 2019, earning a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and a Master’s degree in Music. He later received his Artist Diploma from the New England Conservatory in 2022, studying under Wha Kyung Byun, his mentor since the age of 12.
