Starting from the Semifinal Round on Aug 15, several semifinalists will be advanced to the Final. Finalists will perform Brahms Piano Concerto No. 2 in B-flat Major, Op. 83, in its entirety, accompanied by the official collaborative pianist on the second piano. The event will be live streamed.

The following 10 semifinalists of the 6th Fou Ts'ong International Concerto Competition, representing (alphabetically) China, Hong Kong, Israel, Malaysia, Russia, South Korea, Taiwan, and USA, of age up to 35, are the candidates.
