First Monday at Jordan Hall: Haydn, Schuller, Britten, and Brahms
Join us as we continue the 41st season of First Mondays. Programs feature well-loved classics and new compositions, performed by some of the world's finest chamber musicians, free and open to all.

November's First Monday concert makes a nod to Gunther Schuller’s legacy with a performance of his Meditation for voice and piano. NEC faculty and alumni also perform together in other works on the program, including Johannes Brahms’ Clarinet Quintet.

All are invited to attend a special Meet the Artist preconcert talk at 7:00 p.m. in Jordan Hall. First Monday Artistic Co-Chair Soovin Kim will be joined in conversation by pianist and Chair of NEC’s Collaborative Piano Department, Cameron Stowe.

The live stream of this event is available to NEC Community members only. To watch the stream, please click the “Streaming Access” button at the top of the page and enter the NEC Community streaming password on the video window labeled “NEC-Produced Stream” when prompted.
