First Monday at Jordan Hall: Divine Arcanum, Mozart, Schuller featuring Emi Ferguson

First Monday closes the fall season with a festive program, celebrating Boston’s baroque community. New viola faculty member Wenting Kang and BSO violinist and NEC alumna Julianne Lee join for Mozart’s beloved Sinfonia Concertante, arranged for string sextet by Gunther Schuller. Also featured are three of von Biber's Mystery Sonatas, David Lang's Biber-inspired Glory, and deeply introspective pieces by Bingen, Messaien, and Pärt.  

All are invited to attend a special Meet the Artist preconcert talk at 7:00 p.m. in Jordan Hall. First Monday Artistic Co-Chair Nicholas Cords will be joined in conversation by guest artist Emi Ferguson.
