Cambridge Symphony Orchestra Presents: Masterworks: Brahms, Poulenc & Bach
Jordan Hall
Various
In-Person Event
Open to the Public
Start your Halloween weekend with an evening of hauntingly beautiful music at Jordan Hall. From the unmistakably gothic opening of Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D minor to Brahms’ deeply moving meditation on mortality in Nänie and the radiant joy of Poulenc’s Gloria, this program moves from darkness toward light. Featuring soprano Laura Santamaria and the combined voices of the UMass Lowell University Choir and Chamber Singers and Nashoba Valley Chorale. Friday, October 30 at 8 PM at Jordan Hall.
