Prescreening and Final Auditions:
- One art song in Italian
- One art song in French
- One art song in German
- One art song in English
- One opera aria
- One oratorio aria
Graduate singers may choose to substitute a second contrasting operatic aria for one of the art songs, as long as all four major languages are represented in the six selections.
In addition to the listed repertoire requirements, applicants are welcome to include a song performed in their native language, particularly if their first language is not English. We value the authenticity and expressiveness that come from performing in a familiar language. This selection is optional and will be considered part of your overall repertoire submission.
