Van Cliburn International Piano Competition

“One of the most prestigious contests in classical music” (The New York Times), the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition was established in 1962 in honor of its namesake, who famously won the inaugural International Tchaikovsky Competition in 1958.

The Cliburn has introduced the world to such revered artists as Radu Lupu and Olga Kern, among others.
