Leeds International Piano Competition

Established in 1961, the Leeds International Piano Competition has launched the careers of such acclaimed artists as Murray Perahia, Radu Lupu, and Mitsuko Uchida, among others.

NEC faculty members Alessio Bax and HaeSun Paik won first and fifth place, respectively, in 2000 and 1990.
