Ms. Chau serves as Suzuki Director at Monday Music Education Institute and teaches across private, Suzuki, and ensemble settings. She also directs string ensembles in Boston-area public school programs. Her teaching emphasizes strong technical foundations, musical independence, creativity, and confidence. Her students have earned distinctions in ABRSM examinations and have participated in NEC Prep Orchestras, Rivers Youth Orchestras, MMEA Eastern District Junior and Senior Festivals, Berklee Summer Programs, school ensembles, and other regional music programs.

As a performer, Ms. Chau works across both modern and historically informed Performance and has appeared at venues including Carnegie Hall, Boston City Hall, Harvard University, and more. Her experience spans orchestral, chamber, contemporary, film, and Baroque repertoire, and her recording work as a violist has received recognition from the Global Music Awards.

Ms. Chau has completed Suzuki Violin Teacher Training in Books 1–8 through the Suzuki Association of the Americas and continues to pursue professional development in both Performance and pedagogy. Her teaching is grounded in a student-centered approach that encourages curiosity, independence, thoughtful listening, and a lasting connection to music.
