She has taught everything from private lessons to ensembles and songwriting classes. Kearney combines traditional music theory and pedagogy with real-world “by ear” learning styles to provide a well-rounded experience for the student.

“I believe that music is a true source of joy and human expression that is far beyond entertainment. I believe it connects people on a very visceral level. My approach is to be a guide for a student to enter what will hopefully be a lifetime of musical fulfillment.”

Kearney continues to tour nationally and internationally as a solo act and with her full band.
