Longwood Symphony Orchestra Presents: Mahler 1: The Circle of Life
Music Director Jotaro Nakano leads the orchestra of Boston’s healthcare community in a exciting program reflecting on the cyclical nature of life and the human experience. The LSO is thrilled to welcome back fan favorites Cambridge Common Voices for an opening set followed by the world premiere of featuring At the Verge of Waking by Peabody Arts in Health program fellow Heather Hyo Eun Ahn. We’ll finish the night and the season with Mahler's triumphant Symphony No. 1 in D major, “Titan”.

A portion of the proceeds from this concert will benefit the LSO’s Community Partner, Vinfen. Vinfen, a leading nonprofit organization, has been a lifeline for individuals with mental health challenges, intellectual and developmental disabilities, brain injuries, and behavioral health challenges since 1977. Operating from Massachusetts, Vinfen is dedicated to transforming lives by promoting dignity, independence, and personal growth. The organization's services, which include residential, clinical, and employment support, have had a profound impact on individuals, helping them achieve their full potential and lead fulfilling lives.

All programs are subject to change.

Please reach out to Longwood with any questions regarding programming or ticketing details at (617) 987-0100 or info@longwoodsymphony.org.
