NEC on Norway Pond: 224 Trombone Quartet
Join us in Hancock, NH for our annual NEC on Norway Pond concert! NEC's CPP Department has partnered with Music on Norway Pond for 18 years and we are thrilled to be back this year.

Get ready to experience the trombone as you’ve never heard it before. The award-winning 224 Trombone Quartet, a standout ensemble from the New England Conservatory of Music, brings its expressive, unexpected sound to Norway Pond for an hour of dazzling brass artistry.

Winners of the American Trombone Workshop’s National Trombone Quartet Competition, the ensemble features four rising stars: Devin Drinan ’27, Noah Korenfeld ’24, ’26 MM, Alvin Ho ’26 MM, and Charlie Johnson ’26 MM.

We all know trombones are staples in popular music and jazz, but who knew there was classical music written for a trombone quartet? You’ll be amazed by the color, warmth, and virtuosity these players bring to every note. Their repertoire will delight everyone. Join us for an afternoon of brilliant brass music performed by four exceptional artists.
