Community Barn Dance and Workshops
The Contemporary Musical Arts department hosts an afternoon of dancing with great live music by NEC’s American Roots Ensemble with faculty Eden MacAdam-Somer and special guests Sam Bartlett (guitar/mando), Mark “Pokey” Hellenberg (banjo uke/percussion), and caller Will Mentor.

Events begin at 2:30 p.m. with dances geared for families with younger kids, then move into dancing for folks of all ages around 3:15 p.m. No partners or experience necessary, just pull on some comfy shoes, grab your family and friends, and come join the party!
