NEC Piano Department Concert No. 1: Scarlatti Sonatas

Each year, NEC's Piano Department marks an anniversary or celebrates a composer known for piano works. Students from the College and Preparatory School are then chosen to perform. This year, there will be six concerts centering on Domenico Scarlatti's Piano Sonatas. Tonight is the first of these six performances. This concert series will span three years and cover all 500 Scarlatti Piano Sonatas.
