Noah Fishman

Noah Fishman is a performer, composer, and educator who ventures to make bold, playful statements by bending lines between genres. At home on many instruments, including mandolin, bass, and guitar, Noah is known for his spirited performances and fluid improvisation.

Noah holds degrees in music from Princeton University and the University of Michigan, and has studied or been in residence at IRCAM, the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, and the Kennedy Center. Noah is currently on faculty at Acadia Trad Fest, is co-director of the Portland Community Mandolin Orchestra, and can be found on tour with his own band and a wide range of other artists.
