Doctor of Musical Arts

Prescreening and Final Auditions:

Applicants must prepare a full recital program consisting of 45 minutes of music covering at least three distinct stylistic periods and including repertoire in Italian, French, German and English. In addition to the recital repertoire, the applicant must present one operatic and one oratorio aria from any period.

In addition to the listed repertoire requirements, applicants are welcome to include a song performed in their native language, particularly if their first language is not English. We value the authenticity and expressiveness that come from performing in a familiar language. This selection is optional and will be considered part of your overall repertoire submission.
