BSO Prelude: "What I Hear" featuring Carlos Simon
A collaboration between the Boston Symphony Orchestra and New England Conservatory, "What I Hear" is a series of free hour-long events at NEC meant to introduce audiences to composers being featured in a BSO concert taking place later in the same evening.

These composer-curated chamber music programs feature performances by Conservatory students and include conversations between the composers and BSO Artistic Administrator Eric Valliere. NEC student ensembles are coached by NEC faculty member Stephen Drury.
