Academic Advising
Academic advisors within the Office of Academic and Student Affairs collaborate with faculty, studio instructors, department chairs, and other campus partners to support students throughout their academic journey at NEC.
Advisors help students navigate degree requirements, explore majors and minors, register for courses, set academic and professional goals, identify meaningful co-curricular opportunities, and connect with campus resources that support their success and well-being.Â
Current and incoming students have access to the Student Resources website — a regularly updated hub for academic information, policies, guides, deadlines, campus resources, and other tools that support academic life at NEC.Â

Find Your Advisor
Current students are encouraged to connect with the advisor assigned to their major by email or by visiting the Office of Academic and Student Affairs at 224 St. Botolph Street. The office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; hours may vary during the summer months.
Prospective students and families with questions about academic programs are encouraged to contact New England Conservatory’s Office of Admissions. Admissions counselors are available to provide information, answer questions, and help guide students through the admissions process.Â
