Master of Music composition recital by Mattia Maurée, student of Malcolm Peyton, with Jonathan Price, tenor and Diane Braun, piano.
The program, a song cycle Orpheus, in its world premiere, explores why the mythical hero would have turned around. The work was written specifically for Boston-based tenor the Jonathan Price and features new original poetry by Harvard poet John North Radway.
