The Preparatory Chorus is an introductory chorus, open to singers ages 6-9, who have little or no former choral experience through placement audition. This ensemble introduces the fundamentals of healthy vocal production, as well as aural and theoretical skills, through developmentally-appropriate vocal activities and repertoire. Students perform in two concerts per year. All choristers must have text-reading ability.
Rehearsals: Saturday, 8:00 - 8:45 AM
Chorus Audition Information
The NEC Prep Choruses hold auditions each May for the following academic year. We begin scheduling May auditions in March of each year.
