BM, Royal College of Music; MA, Cambridge University; MA, New England Conservatory. Anne studies with Christopher Elton, Bernard Roberts, Margo Garrett, Martin Katz, and Shiela Kibbe.
Anne Tyson is a versatile collaborative pianist, performing a broad repertoire with both instrumentalists and singers. She is also a dedicated teacher, and joined the NEC Prep faculty in 1989. In addition to maintaining a private piano and coaching studio, she has also taught at Boston Conservatory, Boston University, the South Shore Conservatory, the Community Music Center of Boston, and MOTH.
