GEORGE is the new band formed by genre-crossing composer / percussionist John Hollenbeck, featuring Co-chair of NEC Jazz Studies Anna Webber (flute / tenor saxophone), Sarah Rossy (voice / keyboard), and chiquitamagic (keyboard / voice).
Renowned in both jazz and new-music worlds, Hollenbeck has gained widespread recognition as the driving force behind the unclassifiable Claudia Quintet and the ambitious John Hollenbeck Large Ensemble, groups with roots in jazz, world music, and contemporary improvisation.
