Artist(s)

Pianist Sunmin Kim was the second prize winner of the 2023 Fou Ts’ong International Concerto Competition. Sunmin, a pianist and composer, received his BM from New England Conservatory studied with HaeSun Paik. Currently, he is pursuing his MM at Juilliard with Sergei Babayan.

Sunmin has been awarded numerous prizes in Korea and other prizes internationally.
In addition to solo endeavors, Sunmin has showcased his artistry in chamber performances at various distinguished venues, participated in prestigious festivals, and attended masterclasses worldwide.

Beyond the piano, Sunmin is a choral composer as well. He has collaborated with J&A Music, one of the major choral music publishers in Korea and has been featured in recordings by the Park’s Choir, the chamber choir of Ansan City Choir. His work will be published and released by Beckenhorst Press, a prestigious choral music publisher in the US later this year. Currently, Sunmin contributes his skills as an orchestra arranger at SaRang Church.
