Elizabeth has been on the NEC faculty since 1991, enjoying teaching adult students and offering classes on performance styles of Bach, Handel and others. She taught at the Longy School of Music for 27 years, and founded two choirs for older adults which gave her an opportunity to have a third act as a conductor.

A native of California, she studied in San Francisco and in Europe before moving to Boston. Her principal teachers have included Robert Honeysucker, Edward Zambara, Jessica Cash, James Schwabacher and Lillian Loran. Elizabeth can be heard on Erato, Titanic, Zimbel and Musica Omnia labels.
