He has previously taught at Brandeis University, Jerusalem Academy of Music, Haifa University, and Ono College. He has composed and orchestrated music for Orchestras, chamber ensembles, psychoacoustics, and chorus. His music has been featured in numerous theatrical and cinematic productions. He has been recognized as a composer deeply in touch with the music of his Arabic heritage and the richly complex contemporary global musical landscape.
