Solti Foundation Career Assistance Awards

Solti Foundation Career Assistance Awards provide support to young conductors for costs that “may include transportation expenses, financial support for language studies, creation of demonstration DVDs, or other worthy projects.”

George Solti (1912–1997), whose Foundation has sponsored these awards since 2004, was music director of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra from 1969 to 1991, with many other conducting credits worldwide and more than 250 recordings under his baton.
