The Preparatory Chorus is part of the Children's Chorus program. Rehearsals are geared toward teaching fundamental elements of music. Children work with recognition of pitch and basic musical symbols, exploration of the differences between speaking and singing voices, and concepts of posture, breath control, and diction. The Preparatory Chorus performs on the Winter & Spring Festivals in NEC's Jordan Hall. Admission is by audition, but no prior experience is required.
Rehearsals: Saturday, 8:45 AM – 9:55 AM

Our Spring/May auditions have come to an end. However, if you missed our auditions and are interested in joining for the 2013-2014 Academic Year, we would still love to hear you.
