Welcome to NEC’s Residence Life Staff Recruitment and Selection website! We’re excited to learn of your interest in joining our amazing team! Please take a look at the important information below to learn more about our current openings and how to apply for a position!
Resident Assistants (RAs) are integral members of a network of individuals who support residential students at the New England Conservatory. RAs are responsible for fostering an inclusive community on their floor and in the Residence Hall, planning social and educational programs, managing crises and emergencies, and fostering personal growth and development in their residents. The RA position is both demanding and rewarding. Because of this, Residence Life selects individuals whose skills, interests, and experiences are best suited for the position.
Summer Housing Assistants (SHAs) support short-term participants who stay in the Residence Hall during the summer months for conferences, workshops, and camps. SHAs are responsible for fostering an inclusive community, managing crises and emergencies, and providing excellent customer service to our summer groups.
