NEC has developed a comprehensive program of symptom screening, testing, and contact tracing to ensure the health, wellness and safety of our community, in partnership with organizations and agencies such as the Boston Public Health Commission and the Broad Institute.

Recent Metrics

To date, NEC has completed more than 66,186 PCR tests for COVID-19. Of the cumulative total, the positivity rate is 0.8%. Results are reported every Friday.

In the last 7 days, we have completed more than 570 PCR tests for COVID-19. Of those completed tests, there were 23 positive results with a positivity rate of 4%.
