Sia Liss Stovall is a Professor of German in the Modern Languages Department.

B.A. in German, magna cum laude, Connecticut College, German Consulate Prize of Boston. M.A. in German, University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Having studied at the Albert Ludwig University in Freiburg, Germany, she later worked as a teacher of both English and German for German Gymnasium students. She was awarded a Fulbright Teacher Exchange position in Germany. She is a former faculty member of Suffolk University, The Boston School of Modern Languages, The Chinese American Civic Association, and Bunker Hill Community College. She came to NEC in 2005. As a singer and passionate music lover, she loves sharing the beauty of the German language with her NEC students from all over the world.
