Gail Hilson Woldu is Charles A. Dana Professor of Music at Trinity College. Her published work includes two books as well as numerous articles and essays on Gabriel Fauré, Maurice Ravel, Vincent d’Indy, French schools of music, and various topics in American popular culture. Recent publications appear in edited volumes for Routledge, Ashgate, and in Musical Quarterly. Woldu is currently writing a book on the music of black American women.
