Callithumpian Consort, SICPP's Ensemble-in-Residence, has been an integral part of Boston's new music scene since the 1980s. In addition to performing several concerts, Callithumpians embed within student ensembles for the week, creating a unique environment of immersive coaching. 

This concert will feature a work by SICPP's 2019 Composer-in-Residence Michael Finnissy

As an added feature to SICPP 2019, scholar-in-residence Sara Haefeli will present a pre-concert lecture at 7:00pm in Keller Room.

ABOUT THE SUMMER INSTITUTE FOR CONTEMPORARY PERFORMANCE PRACTICE (SICPP)

SICPP is an 8-day intensive seminar on the performance of 20th and 21st century music, culminating in a day-long marathon of explosive new music, a smorgasbord of masterworks and world premieres by composition fellows.
