Let's Talk! Lunch & Learns – Navigating Dialogue with Differing Ideologies and Beliefs
Dialogue can be thought of as three interconnected conversations or dimensions that occur simultaneously: 1) What is happening? 2) Feelings 3) Identity. CEB proposes a fourth dimension that explores the elements of group culture, the interplay of social dynamics, and the role of the “hidden” curriculum (refers to the informal and unspoken rules, expectations, and cultural messages of the dominant culture within educational and institutional settings).

Bring your lunch and enjoy flowering tea in CEB.

Helpful dialogue strategies will be shared and practiced at each session, and there will be an opportunity to bring real-life dialogue challenges (inside and outside the classroom).

For further CEB events, see the CEB Programming Webpage and October Dialogue Month Flyer

The theme is "Talking Tapestries: The Courage to Engage in Difficult Dialogue". This month, we will focus on developing and practicing helpful tools for challenging dialogue, and will have community and learning opportunities for all to engage in. CEB will also share resources each week.
