Join us as we celebrate 40 years of First Mondays, curated by Artistic Director Laurence Lesser. Programs feature well-loved classics and new compositions, performed by some of the finest chamber musicians in the world, free and open to all. First Mondays are fresh and full of imaginative pairings of well-loved classics and new works, performed in one of the finest places on the planet to hear music of this caliber: NEC’s own Jordan Hall.

Tonight's program includes Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 2, Barber's Despite and Still, Fauré's Au clair de lune as well as his Piano Quartet in C Minor, op. 15.  The performers are: Richard Watson, trumpet; John Ferrillo, oboe; Aldo Abreu, recorder; violinists Daniel Chong and Ken Hamao; violist Jessica Bodner; cellists Keehyun Kim and Lluís Claret; bassist Thomas van Dyck; harpsichordist Oscar Jiang; pianists Tanya Blaich and Max Levinson; and soprano Heidi Stober.
