    This ensemble performs music written by composers working today, primarily from the jazz tradition, who have proposed new models for integrating improvisation and composition and who embrace new ideas about structure, groove, and texture.

    The Ted Reichman  Jazz Ensembles focuses on student compositions and interpretations of diverse material with an emphasis on non-traditional forms and flexible approaches to ensemble playing, improvisation, and rhythm.
